Facts:
1. The lake is about 600 meters long, and is surrounded by a rim of sand and a dense woodland of paperbark and eucalyptus trees.
2. The pink color of this lake is permanent, no light tricks.
3. Some say this pink color is because of organisms releasing a dye, OR because of some bacteria in the salt crusts.
